Colourization Pricing
[table id=14 /]
Our colourization pricing is based upon the size of the final print rather than the number of people or number of colours in the photo. We have a lot of examples of the photos we have colourized and guarantee complete satisfaction with the results because after all, satisfied customers are our best advertising. We even include a little restoration work in case your photo needs a little fixing or enhancing. We do have to charge extra when more than just a little photo restoration is needed or when the original photo is larger than 8×10 inches (see scanning pricing). If you have any questions about colourization or any of the other services we offer, please contact us. We’d love to hear from you.
Should photos be colourized? Well really, that all depends on the intent of the photographer in the first place. Some photos such as Ansel Adams’ were intentionally photographed as black and white and should never be colourized while others such as amateur photos taken before the advent of colour film benefit greatly by the addition of colour.
